STAR WARS

When I was very young I was astonished by this movie. I thought of it as merely science fiction. After many years, when the last part was shown to the public I found there some interesting philosophical questions.
But let me start from the beginning.

There are two main forces in this movie.
The Rebels, who collaborate with Jedi, and the Empire which is led by Siths.
Rebels are good; the others are bad.
Jedi believe in some kind of life after death. Their ghosts are even able to communicate and help real people. Jedi use strange, invisible and magic power.
Siths are more commercial; they have better technical equipment and they want to possess and govern the entire universe. In the last part of the movie we are informed that Siths had discovered the way of living forever.

In our real world, in my opinion, we have similar forces. Almost in every society there are people who believe in supernatural powers, religion etc and there are others who have a different way of living.

Additionally medicine is making rapid progress. And maybe after some time it will be possible for humans to live forever. I estimate it can be true in 100 to 200 years.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that in the first stage money will decide who can live forever. Maybe for some time (after many wars) this possibility will be open for everybody.

So I think there is an interesting question, especially for people who believe in God: If the technology is available, should they live forever or not?
What should they choose?
